Investment Manager (m/f/d)

Dreyer is a Salzburg-based family office with a 35-year history, focused on acquiring and actively developing Mittelstand companies – owner-managed mid-sized businesses – in the DACH region.

Dreyer typically invests in succession situations and carve-outs, with a hands-on approach and a long-term investment horizon.

As Investment Manager, you will work closely with the managing partner across the entire transaction process – from origination to post-signing support.

Your profile

  • Degree in business, economics or finance
  • 2 – 4 Jahre Erfahrung in Private Equity, Family Office, oder vergleichbarer Investmentumgebung
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Excellent analytical understanding of balance sheets, cash flows and company valuation
  • Independent, entrepreneurial approach – you thrive in a small, lean team with a high level of responsibility
  • Business-fluent German, fluent English
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region

The role

  • Screening and valuing acquisition targets (succession, carve-outs, buy-and-build)
  • Building financial models, equity bridges and valuation analyses
  • Preparing IC memos, NBOs and offer letters
  • Coordinating due diligence processes
  • Supporting financing structuring
  • Point of contact for M&A advisers, banks and target companies
  • Supporting portfolio companies on operational and governance matters

What we offer

  • Direct collaboration with management and short decision paths
  • A broad remit across the full deal lifecycle – not an analyst silo
  • Hands-on entrepreneurial experience through active portfolio management
  • Based in Salzburg or Munich, with travel across the DACH region
  • Immediate start, full-time or part-time by arrangement
  • Salary from €80,000 gross p.a. plus variable bonus and carried interest; higher depending on qualifications and experience
