Dreyer is a Salzburg-based family office with a 35-year history, focused on acquiring and actively developing Mittelstand companies – owner-managed mid-sized businesses – in the DACH region.
Dreyer typically invests in succession situations and carve-outs, with a hands-on approach and a long-term investment horizon.
As Senior Investment Manager, you will lead entire transactions – from identifying targets through due diligence to post-signing support.
Your profile
- Degree in business, economics or finance; MBA an advantage
- 6–8+ years’ experience in private equity, a family office or a comparable investment environment
- Proven track record of completed transactions, including carve-outs
- Experience leading negotiations independently
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Own network in relevant industries or regions an advantage
- Business-fluent German, fluent English
- Strong willingness to travel within the DACH region
The role
- Leading transactions independently from sourcing to signing and post-signing
- Negotiating directly with sellers, advisers and financing partners
- Building and maintaining your own relationships with M&A advisers and banks
- Guiding deal team members
- Developing and presenting investment recommendations in the decision process
- Taking on advisory or supervisory board mandates in portfolio companies
- Structuring financing
